Workplace Guidelines
Work Week & Hours of Work
The standard workweek is from Saturday 12:00 a.m. CST until Friday 11:59 p.m. CST and generally consists of 40-50 work hours. Office hours are 9:00 a.m. CST to 6:00 p.m. CST, with a 1-hour lunch break. Individual work schedules may vary depending on the needs of each department.
Overtime & Time Off
Contractors are permitted to work over 40 hours in a week and will get paid at their hourly rate for all hours. Any hours over 40 in one week must be approved by his/her manager. They may take holidays and out of office time, but that time will be unpaid unless previously agreed upon. Contractors must notify their manager of any upcoming time off and follow any additional steps required by their manager to log time off.
Time Records
All contractors are required to complete accurate weekly time reports showing all time hours worked. At the end of each week, the employee will submit time through Hubstaff for routing to his or her manager for review and approval. Timesheets are due by Monday morning for the prior week.
Screenshots of computer screens are not required and will be disabled on the Hubstaff platform. However, if the contractor is placed on a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP), the contractor is subject to TapGoods enabling screenshots to monitor performance as needed. The contractor will be notified if screenshots are enabled.
Pay
Contractors are paid every other Monday for the prior two weeks. If a Monday falls on a holiday, contractors will be paid Tuesday. The expectation is that pay will be in their bank accounts by Wednesday. Contractors will get paid via direct ACH or wire transfer.
Job Performance
Communication between contractors and managers is very important. Discussions regarding job performance are ongoing and often informal. Contractors should initiate conversations with their supervisors if they feel additional ongoing feedback is needed.
Performance Evaluations. Formal performance evaluations are conducted in January and July. Performance is evaluated based on the success measures identified in the team member’s performance scorecard. The evaluation is recorded and archived in our software called Trakstar.
Pay increases are reviewed typically once per year during the evaluation closest to the team member’s start date or date of the most recent increase. Under certain circumstances, increases can occur at any point throughout the year and are handled on a case-by-case basis. There is no guarantee that a team member will be granted a pay increase every year.
